Eugene Chong

Eugene Chong serves as the Founder | Principal Counselling Psychologist at Seeding Minds. He also holds the position of adjunct lecturer at various educational institutions that offer accredited psychology and counselling training programs, spanning from Diploma to Master’s levels.
Eugene possesses extensive experience working with youth facing mental health challenges in psychiatric rehabilitation and educational settings. His background includes clinical practice within hospitals and rehabilitation centres, providing both individual counselling and group therapy for individuals diagnosed with Schizophrenia, Depression, and anxiety disorders. He employs a diverse range of psychometric tools—including those focused on Intelligence, Personality, and Behavioral & Cognitive assessments—to evaluate individuals' functionality. His therapeutic approach predominantly embraces post-modern concepts, utilizing brief therapeutic interventions grounded in the theories of Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and Cognitive-Relational Therapy (CTRT). Additionally, he integrates techniques such as Schema Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Ericksonian Hypnosis as deemed appropriate.
Eugene offers two certification courses for participants interested in exploring personality and marital issues. As a seminar director for the Prepare/Enrich Accreditation, he utilizes a psychometric instrument designed for couples. Furthermore, he acts as a trainer for the T-JTA couple’s personality profiling. In the realm of couples counselling, he applies the Gottman approach, having completed Level 3 training in this methodology. For addressing specific team dynamics and conflict management, as well as career counselling, he employs the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and the DISC assessment as effective tools for guiding teams toward resolution. He also conducts mental wellness seminars across various organizations, including corporate, educational, and religious institutions, and serves as an associate consultant with Workplace Options, HMI Institute of Health Sciences, Health Can Be Fun and Optum.
In addition to his clinical work, Eugene played a pivotal role in establishing the Hope Counselling Services under Hope Centre (Singapore) and has previously held positions as a counselling overseer at Hope Church Singapore. He is a founding member and commits to serving on the committee of the Association of Psychotherapists and Counsellors Singapore (APACS) and has previously been an ex-board member of Family Life First (FLF). As a full member of the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS) and an International Member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA), he is also affiliated with APACS-L4S and serves as a registered supervisor with both ACA and APACS.
He can conduct therapy in English, Mandarin as well as Cantonese.

Jeslyn Lim

Jeslyn Lim is the Managing Director. Developmental Psychologist and Certified Hypnotist at Mind Culture. Trained in Applied Psychology and Organisational Psychology at an undergraduate level, Masters degree in Developmental Psychology, and post-graduate as a Hypnotherapist.
She is a certified practitioner of Integral Eye Movement Therapy (IEMT) and a member of the Association for IEMT Practitioner. Jeslyn is also a full member of the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS), as well as a Board Committee Member of the Association of Psychotherapists and Counsellors Singapore (APACS). With extensive experience working in the service and education sectors, she had attained vast opportunities to work with disadvantaged and disenfranchised children, youth, as well as adults (with a speciality in psychological dysfunction, intellectually disabled individuals and their families).
As a psychologist and a hypnotherapist, she took charge of clinical assessment and program, individual behavioural plan (IBP) development, clinical supervision, and clinical meetings with parents. With experience in behavioural and language intervention (trained in ABLLS™‐R, ABA & VB techniques/ physiology) and alongside with hypnotherapeutic work, she is National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH) Certified with an Advanced Certification In 5-PATH®, as well as a 7th PATH Self-Hypnosis Teacher. Jeslyn works closely with clients in achieving individualized learning goals progressively. Apart from her work experience in the social service industry, Jeslyn also spent years in the private sectors at the management level, ensuring employees’ well-being by performing conflict resolution, and providing counselling services. This further fortified her skills in dealing with clients regarding matters of safety, crisis, and restorative management. She developed therapeutic interventions to promote motivation and heighten work morale as well as work ethics. Additionally, Jeslyn is experienced in the medical sector as a senior surgical operating assistant, dealing with patients and cases that included financial hardship, phobias, and socio-emotional needs.

Jacquelyn Peh

Jacquelyn is the founder of Chasah and a mental health advocate with decades of clinical experience across intergenerational communities within the healthcare, education, social and private sectors since the year 2008.
Jacquelyn has been an active Clinical Member and Registered Counsellor with the Singapore Association For Counsellors(SAC), a Master Practitioner and Supervisor with the Association of Psychotherapists and Counsellors Singapore(APACS) and a Clinical Member with the Association for Christian Counselling Singapore(ACCS).
Jacquelyn is also an affiliate EAP counselling service provider and a qualified clinical supervisor, along with her various professional licensure memberships in upholding the ethical standards of evidence-based integrative psychotherapy services. Her therapy is based upon Cognitive Behavioural, Solution Focused, Narrative, Grief Work and Family Systemic approaches to cater for her spectrum of clientele.
Jacquelyn’s passion is to bring restorative empowerment to the marginalised and is journeying with clients struggling with depression, post-traumatic stress and anxiety disorders.
Prior to helping profession, Jacquelyn had a 12-year span of creative contributions in the TV broadcast and post-production industry during the years 1996 to 2008.

Denise Thong
Counsellor
Bachelor in Applied Science, Food Science and Technology (National University of Singapore), Masters in Human Nutrition (Deakin University), Masters in Counselling (Swinburne University) and a Registered Counsellor and Clinical Member of the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC number: C0771).
Denise spent 1.5 years internship at a private psychiatric clinic provided her with extensive hands-on training in psychopathology and psychopharmacology which provided her with a unique edge when dealing with clients with a wide range of diagnoses (e.g. Autism Spectrum Disorder, Anxiety, Depression, Dissociative Identity Disorder, Adjustment Disorder, Personality Disorders). In addition, she has volunteer experience at (i) WIRA (Women In Recovery Association, Changi Prison after-care service), (ii) Touch Community Services (hearing impaired clients) and (iii) St Anne’s church (volunteer counsellor and special needs catechist).
She is certified in Transactional Analysis and Choice Theory Reality Therapy and trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. She is currently clocking hours to be a certified psychodramatist. She is also the administrator of an SFBT monthly supervision group run by Mr. Alan Yeo. While her experience is mainly with individuals and dyads, she also runs therapy groups using action-based experiential methods.
